April 2018 Men's Retreat

Spring 2018 Men’s Retreat Information

The dates for the Spring Men’s Retreat are Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14, 2018.  We will return to the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly near Black Mountain.  The cost remains at $79 per person (double occupancy room with 2 queen beds and a private bath) with Friday supper and Saturday breakfast.

Friday and Saturday activities include hiking on many trails, tennis, golf, biking, and simply enjoying the facilities at Blue Ridge Assembly.

Dr. Sherrill Babb, Chancellor Emeritus and President Emeritus of Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia Biblical University) will return as our devotions leader.  The title of his presentations Friday evening and Saturday morning is “The Life and Walk of the Godly Man”.  We are blessed to have Dr. Babb return with his most meaningful messages for us men.

Rev. Gabe Malloy will share about the men who have influenced his life on Saturday morning.

Ed Mathis and his group, Stepsons of the Pioneers, will have a group of songs that will lift our spirits on Friday night, and our group certainly enjoyed them before.

As was the case in 2017, YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly requires a deposit of $40.00 per person to reserve the rooms and the meeting space.  There are 22 who have currently sent in their deposit, and there are currently 12 additional rooms (maximum of 24 additional guys), but these rooms are on a first come/first serve basis since there are other groups at Blue Ridge Assembly simultaneously with our group.

Therefore, to secure your reservation, mail a check for $40.00 (check needs to be made payable  to Jerry Ariail)  to Jerry Ariail, 174 Rhododendron Drive, Arden, NC 28704 since I am the contact person for this event with YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly.

Thanks.
