Jean-Marie VunCannon, Director of Women's Ministries
Jean-Marie VunCannon joined the church staff in 2003. She attended the University of North Carolina and has taken a few classes at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. She is married to Tony VunCannon and they have one married daughter. Away from church, Jean-Marie enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, drinking coffee, and reading classic British literature.
Jean-Marie longs to see the women of Arden growing in their relationships with the Lord and with His people. She wants to see homes and families transformed by the power of the gospel. She enjoys seeing the big picture of the gospel at work in the lives of God's people and she is always encouraged to see the faithfulness of the people at Arden.
Michele Bartlett, Director of Children's Ministries
Michele Bartlett joined the church staff in 2016. Michele is married to Tim Bartlett and has 4 children, Tia, Emma, Jack and Ryan. She earned a bachlors degree in Accounting from Canisius college in upstate NY. After being home with her children for several years, Michele returned to work as a preschool teacher. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, reading and baking.
Michele is thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord by assisting families as they seek to teach their children truth from God's Word and help them learn to apply it in their own lives.
Dan Berger, Church Business Administrator
Dan Berger joined the church staff in 2001. He studied business at Appalachian State University and earned an M.B.A from Wake Forest University. He is married to Mary and have three children, Ben, Ashley, and John. Dan enjoys a variety of hobbies, including leading Boy Scouts, camping, fishing, gardening, making stained glass windows, and being a member of the Steeler Nation.
Dan enjoys meeting and working with a variety of people in his day-to-day work.
Sarah Tilley, Youth Coordinator
Sarah Tilley joined the church staff in 2015. She has a bachelor’s degree from Covenant College in Biblical Studies emphasis in Missions and a minor in Youth Ministry. She has four years of experience working with at risk teenage girls at a therapeutic boarding school. She has a huge heart for discipling teenage girls and walking alongside them and their parents. Sarah has a heart to help teenagers have a growing relationship with Christ and to fall more in love with Him. Sarah loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves to sing, eat kale and chocolate.
Judy Frank, Music Ministry Assistant
Judy Frank joined the staff in 2006. She works to keep records of the music sung by the choir. Judy enjoys quilting, crocheting, working in her yard, and playing the piano. She also enjoys spending time with her children and her grandson. She loves the people she works with and she feels like the people of Arden are her family, particularly the women in the Sewing Circle. She feels that being at Arden gives her wonderful opportunities to serve and to learn about Jesus.
